HOMESTUCK JUST GOT A LOT MORE CRAZY

the-droid-youre-looking-for:

My favorite thing about John reaching his arm into The Treasure isn’t that it’s canon, and that all them panels have been replaced with the new ones including John’s arm. Oh no, my favorite bit is that he’s not reaching through Space-Time.
“what?” I hear you say.
Hear me out.

There are at least two times where John reaches into somewhere he shouldn’t be able to.
1) His arm reaches into that skater videogame that the Striders play.
imageAnd then he himself zaps into Con Air.
image

Now, he definitely shouldn’t be able to reach into a videogame. There’s no physical manifest of it, you can’t go there, let alone reach an arm into it. Con Air, yes, he could’ve appeared on the set but then why didn’t
A) The actors notice him and stop acting?
B) The creators of the movie notice him and use a different recording rather than that one?
C) John notice himself in it the multiple times he’s seen that movie?

This is because John didn’t reach into the videogame or the set of the movie. He can’t have reached into the TV screen of either of these - it wouldn’t make sense, everything’s out of proportion and you wouldn’t see it anyways. That’s because John’s not reaching backwards through time. He’s reaching through the narrative - the comic itself. The way physics work in Homestuck is tricky - in fact, they barely work at all. The entire idea of Homestuck isn’t that it’s a story though. It’s meant to be a game a player is playing. Homestuck isn’t a story about four kids - it’s A STORY about a story about four kids. Basically - John didn’t reach onto the set of the movie or the screen of the TV - he reached into that PAGE which is why it wasn’t there before - not because Hussie didn’t put it there (although there’s that obviously), simply because it hadn’t happened yet. He’s literally reaching into the webpage that the panel is on - Now, you might ask me why he can interact with the story then - or at least be seen - and it’s actually quite simple. The new panels that show John having an impact on the old panels are simply that - new panels. Homestuck isn’t a linear story in any means - it’s literally a webcomic in canon. The entire multiverse IS the webcomic which is why the author can interact with it too - the same way John does. Homestuck doesn’t follow normal rules of time-space.

Now that’s out the way, here’s my theory:

So The Treasure was used once before, right? Since it’s the Sburb logo, we can assume that the first time it was used was in fact the beginning of Homestuck - or Sburb itself, if you will. The Treasure is literally a physical manifest of the comic within the comic. It doesn’t make sense - because it doesn’t have to. In the comic, the laws of physics work differently.

Now, if the Treasure is brought close enough to Lord English it will reset and can be used again, right? We’re three days away from Homestuck ending, and the treasure is soon going to be used again. You add it up.

Andrew Hussie isn’t concluding Homestuck. Oh no, he’s using it as a prologue for whatever’s next. MSPA5. I reckon MSPA5 and Homestuck will be linked - a LOT. I’ve heard a lot of people say Hussie said it would end how it began - some people think that means John alone in his bedroom. Some people think it means a session of Sburb.

I think it means that the end of Homestuck is literally the opening to the next MS Paint Adventure. The very start of Homestuck is literally that - the start of Homestuck. If it ends how it began, it ends with something else opening.

Now, I’m not so sure on this one - but what if MSPA5 also has another name? Two simple words.

Act Seven.
